Tucked in Three Rivers, California, at the base of Sequoia National Park, ol' Buckaroo blends local, scratch-made dishes with a scenic riverside setting for a classic Americana dining experience.
Established in July 2014, the ol' Buckaroo food truck found its roots on a picturesque spot alongside the Kaweah River. Fast forward to February 2017, and the realization of a dream came to fruition with the unveiling of The Buckaroo Diner – a timeless brick-and-mortar establishment housed in the original town saloon and tavern of the 1940s and 1950s.
Stepping into the Buckaroo Diner is a journey through time, where the interior echoes the essence of the surrounding area while paying homage to the rich history of Three Rivers. Our multi-roomed restaurant provides diverse dining experiences, from the comfort of the front climate-controlled dining room with its original glass bricks to the scenic sunroom overlooking the meandering river. For those who prefer the open air, our outdoor seating boasts modern picnic tables, accommodating gatherings of up to 60 patrons.

Our location is all about the experience. ‘Ol Buckaroo is the perfect spot to gather with friends and family for special occasions.We can make it fancy or go comfortable and relaxed. Our food truck venue is a slice of the roadside restaurant located on the Kaweah river enjoying a 1.3 acres of beautifully landscaped canopies.
You can book the ‘ol Buckaroo food truck, the Buckaroo Diner restaurant or take over the entire place depending on your event, size and needs.
Our good food/ nice drink will bring joy and satiate your guests.
We serve local beer and boutique wines from around the world as well as a handful of specialty drinks and non-alcoholic gems.
Our style is modest but modern. With a little flare from the wild west (our location and building was the original saloon and tavern of Three Rivers in the 40’s and 50’s) and some appeal from our roots in San Francisco restaurants we use the beauty of the outdoors to inspire a hip and fun environment for you & your guests to enjoy.

Our dream is to create a magical and simple wedding experience for you, taking away the stress of planning your wedding with our ‘one-click’ (almost) all-inclusive intimate weddings!
Our wedding collections include packages hosting up to 30, up to 60, and up to 100 people, and include:
a guided photography experience with location & timeline planning by Sequoia Weddings
riverside ceremony location (or you can opt for a pop up ceremony in Sequoia!)
